We offer a heavy-duty metal support system for our Double, Queen, and King size beds.  Not strictly necessary, this additional metal support system increases load bearing strength of the bed.  Please note that King beds will NOT support California King mattresses and box springs.  (Please review the Bedroom Furniture introductory page for other important information concerning all bed sets.)
